Rec vs Comp
Recreational Group
The Recreational Group is for swimmers who are not interested in competing, or ready to compete, during the season. Swimmers will practice M-F with the Head Coach and Swimmer-Coaches, but will not attend swim meets. The focus will be on building solid technical skills in each of the 4 competitive strokes, starts, turns, and finishes. Once registered for the Recreational Group, swimmers may not transfer to the Competition Group until the following summer.

Registration for the Recreational Group will open on April 20 and closes on May 22 at 11:59pm. Late registrations will be accepted from 12:00am May 23 through 11:59pm June 12. Please note that there is an additional $20 fee for late registration, and late registrants will NOT receive a team shirt. Competition Group
The Competition Group is for swimmers who plan to compete during the season. Swimmers will practice M-F with the Head Coach and Swimmer-Coaches, and will be expected to attend a minimum of 2 SASA Qualifier Meets and SASA Champs. The focus will be on improving technical skills, building endurance, and learning and creating strategies. Once registered for the Competition Group, swimmers may not transfer to the Recreational Group until the following summer.
