Swim Team Financial Aid
If your child could benefit from participation but the cost will present a hardship, CREST offers a 100% registration discount to any swimmer who completes the SWIM-A-MILE Fundraiser! We also offer 25% and 50% discounts for reaching 25% or 50% of the funds. Please see visit https://linktr.ee/crest.fyi or Facebook to find more information and a printable form.
CREST also offers a limited number of need-based grants so that we can foster the growth of swimming in our community. These grants will be available to current members or new members who succeed in tryouts.
To request assistance, please send a written statement supporting your request by e-mail to crest.fyi@gmail.com. The procedure for evaluating financial aid requests is as follows:
The CREST Board will review all applications. Grants will be awarded based on information provided and the amount of funding available. Applicants may be asked to meet with the board to discuss how we can help make the swim team a possibility for their child. We assure you that all information will be kept strictly confidential. All decisions by the CREST board regarding grants are final.

CREST Board Scholarship - Est. 2011
The CREST Board Scholarship was established in 2011 to provide merit based scholarship aid to students from public, private, or home schools within Ashley County, Arkansas. The number of scholarships and amount to be awarded each year will vary based on available funds. The monetary scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient(s). This is a one time scholarship and will not be renewed. To apply, please request application instructions by emailing crest.fyi@gmail.com.
Application deadline April 30th each year.
Eligibility requirements are as follows:
Must be a graduating senior who is a CREST member in good standing.
Must possess attributes as outlined in the CREST mission statement and goals.
Must display excellence in character and leadership.
Must demonstrate sustained long-term dedication to swimming.
Must display strong workmanship as a student who has also been involved in additional areas of endeavor, such as other competitive sports, community involvement, etc.
Must have served the team in a leadership capacity.
Must have been a member of the CREST competitive group for at least 3 seasons prior to receiving the award, and complete the season following the award.
Must plan to attend any accredited post-secondary institution.
Must have at least a 2.5 grade point average.
